Ice House Restaurant (now closed)

The Ice House was a popular family-run steakhouse and seafood restaurant, complete with covered decks that afford views across Lake Champlain. Sadly, it closed its doors in 2016. The structure was originally used a considerable ice house to store food in before the days of modern refridgeration, and served this purpose well into the 20th century. The premises was then converted into retail space. The restuarant was reputedly haunted, and it's possible despite the closure that it may still be.

Reported phenomena included the apparitions of an old woman swinging a bell and ayoung woman in the bar, the sounds of blocks of ice being dragged across the floor and screaming, and objects disappear only to later re-appear.
