Bowman Mansion and Laurel Glen Mausoleum

The Bowman Mansion was built by John Bowman in 1881 following the deaths of his wife and daughters, whom he had interred in the Mausoleum opposite. He joined them in death some 10 years later.

Although the house is rarely open, caretaker and cleaners have reported unusual phenomena inside, including the ghost of Mr and Mrs Bowman, and 19 year old daughter Ella.

Feelings of fear and dread have also been reported. Shadowy figures have been reported around the Mausoleum.
