The Night Marchers

The Night Marchers are part of Hawaiian ghost-lore, and feature on a number of the islands, including Moloka'i. Described as being "vague" forms in swirling smoke, and accompanied by a "single, pulsating drumbeat", these supernatural beings could spell mortal danger for anyone who stumbles across them. They would walk on the Night of Kane, which occurs between the 27th and 29th of the month on a new moon.
