Abbott's Mill is a historic site that includes an old grist mill in Sussex County, Delaware, 3 miles southwest of Milford. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. It features beautiful trails that take you through "a lush deciduous and Atlantic White Cedar woodlands", as well as ghosts if some people are to be believed.
The mill building dates from the 18th century and is reputedly haunted by the apparition of William Johnson, who owned it during the early days. Some have claimed to have seen unusual lights in the mill as well as the house.
Other reported spectres include a slave allegedly killed there during its use on the Underground Railroad; a Confederate soldier; a boy that drowned in the pond; a sad-looking woman wearing soaking-wet clothing that has been conveyed to her home by passing motorists, only for them to discover their female passenger has disappeared.
