Built in 1835 by a sea captain as his home, this Federal-style building is now an inn that "celebrates both history and contemporary style". It is situated in the historic Waterfront District or Rockland. And the author Roxie Zwicker righfully states that this "sophisticated inn is a trasure trove of stories".
The building is reputedly haunted. In the parlour, visitors have reported an invisible person sitting down next to them on the furniture, whereas others have witnessed their drinks sliding across level surfaces.
