The Illinois Road Guide to Haunted Locations provides an intriging, albeit hard to locate location, for an alleged haunting. It has been granted title of a Nature Preserve, due to the bats that hibernate inside.

Hidden in countryside around Burton, the Cave is said to be haunted by vengeful, malevolent spirits that will pull you inside, never to be seen again! Robed figures have also been reported and disappear in front of witnesses.
