Historic Jameson Restaurant, Saloon Hotel

The Jameson was built in 1907 by Theodore Jameson, replacing a wooden structure that was destroyed by a fire in 1890 (that also consumed the entire downtown).

The building is reputedly haunted by the ghost of a former hotel guest named Maggie, who stayed for a few weeks during the 1930. She left the hotel and headed east, but died shortly afterwards. Since then, her apparition has been sighted - a young woman in her 20's, tall and of slender build. The apparition of a miner has been sighted in the dining area.

Also reported are the sounds of someone whistling, lights found switched on and a bible open on a stand, a recently made bed with a headprint on the pillow, toilets and lights operate on their own, and keys disappear.

Details of the haunting feature on the Hotel website.
