The house at 200 East Idaho was the site of an alleged haunting, as recounted in Haunted America (see below).

Phenomena included interference with the elctrical lighting; bathwater suddenly turning cold; unusual sensations likened to an electrical current running through the body; "shapeless forms", a little boy and a ball of light were sighted; doors opened and closed on their own' a child's voice was heard.

The property was levelled in 1973.
