Hans Holzer recounts a case he investigated at a private dwelling in Atlanta. The property was contructed around 1944 within easy reach of Fort McPherson, site of one of the bloodiest battles in the Civil War. However, the witnesses in this case moved in during the Fall of 1962.
Phenomena included the sounds of someone digging in the basement during the night and as if someone was trying to break into their house around 2am. Other sounds reported included music, that of someone using a typwriter, or a person entering the house and flushing the toilet.
Objects would disappear and then later re-appear. An apparition of a woman in her 40's and a "shadowy figure" was sighted in the bedroom and ice cold hands touched one of the occupiers.
